Governor Evers’ 2021 budget proposal includes reauthorization of the Knowles Nelson Stewardship grant program for 10 years at $70 million per year. This is exciting news for the state and has inspired the Town Board to consider funding options through the program for purchase of park or recreational land. A committee is being formed to pursue this funding and options for its use. We welcome and encourage interest from town residents for committee involvement.
