JULY 25, 2022 UPDATE

The Public Service Commission has issued notice of a proceeding to consider the May 13, 2022 application of Saratoga Solar Project, LLC (applicant) for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to construct and place into operation a new 150.5 megawatt (MW) photovoltaic solar facility and a 50 MW battery energy storage system to be located in the Town of Saratoga, Wood County, Wisconsin. The Commission opens this docket by its authority under Wis. Stat. ch. 196.

JULY 5, 2022 UPDATE

The Public Service Commission and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is reviewing the recent application for the Saratoga Solar Project (solar project 2) and is soliciting feedback from area residents regarding the environmental impacts of the proposed project.  The agencies encourage anyone with local information or environmental concerns to provide comments. Comments on the scope of the EA can be submitted in one of two ways:

1. By letter or email addressed to the environmental assessment coordinator for the docket (see contacts at the end of this letter); or

2. Through the Commission’s website at http://psc.wi.gov where you can click “file a comment” on the lower left hand side of the page, then locate docket 9816-CE-100.
